Monsieur jewelry
A handmade piece of jewelry evolves with you: it develops a patina, it lives, it tells a story.
Its brilliance lies not only in its metal or stone, but in the attention and care it receives.
How should you care for our materials?
18-karat gold
Clean your jewelry with a small sponge dipped in soapy water, then rinse thoroughly and dry with a polishing cloth or microfiber cloth.
For a deeper clean, dissolve a little baking soda in warm water.
Let the piece soak for 10 minutes, clean it with a soft-bristled toothbrush, then rinse with warm, clean water before wiping it dry with a chamois or soft cloth.
Caring for gemstones
For gemstones (excluding emeralds and diamonds), bring soapy water to a boil, remove the pan from the heat, and immediately immerse the jewelry. Leave it to soak for about ten minutes, then clean it with a soft toothbrush. Rinse it with warm, clean water, then dry it with a chamois cloth or a soft cloth.
For diamonds, prepare a soapy water solution in a pan, place the jewelry in it, then bring to a boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Finish cleaning with a soft toothbrush, then rinse the jewelry with warm, clean water. Next, place it in 90% alcohol for 2-3 minutes, then dry it with a chamois cloth or a soft cloth.
For emeralds, the most delicate stones, do not use soap, detergents, or even water. You can rub the gold or platinum setting with fresh bread crumbs to restore its shine, and gently dust the stone with a chamois cloth.
For pearls and opals, dust them with a chamois cloth. To avoid damaging them, do not let them come into direct contact with perfume or hairspray, and avoid wearing them while taking antibiotics. If they become dull, wear the pearls so they regain their luster through contact with your skin, and place them in a damp cloth from time to time.

care for silver
To clean your jewelry, prepare a solution of warm soapy water with a little lemon juice, leave the pieces to soak for 10 minutes, clean them with a very soft brush, then rinse them in warm water and dry them with a chamois cloth or a soft cloth.
If stained, apply baking soda diluted in a little water, lemon juice, toothpaste, Meudon white or rubbing alcohol to a used soft-bristled toothbrush. After gently rubbing the jewelry, rinse it with clean water, then dry it with a cloth. If stains remain, rub with a cloth moistened with a mixture of vinegar and ammonia.
If black marks appear, soak the silver for 15 minutes in a mixture of hot water and vinegar. If the silver tarnishes, immerse the piece for a few minutes in a solution of coarse salt and hot water poured into a bowl lined with aluminum foil, then dry with a soft cloth.
Caring for gold-plated jewelry
Gold-plated jewelry, made of silver and coated with 3 microns of gold, should not come into contact with perfume or cosmetic or household products.
Clean your jewelry with a small sponge dipped in soapy water, then rinse thoroughly and dry with a chamois cloth or microfiber cloth.
For stubborn stains, mix whiting with sunflower oil, apply the solution with a cloth, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
