INTERVIEW GUIDE

Care for your jewelry Monsieur

A handmade jewel evolves with you: it develops a patina, it lives, it tells a story. Its brilliance lies not only in its metal or stone, but in the care and attention you give it.

Because we know how much sentimental value a piece of jewelry can have, our workshop will accompany you well beyond the act of purchase:
Cleaning, polishing, adjusting, resetting stones, sizing your rings and wedding bands...

We've put together a maintenance guide to preserve the beauty and longevity of your Monsieur Paris pieces.

taking care of money

To clean jewelry, prepare a solution of lukewarm soapy water with a little lemon juice, leave to soak for ten minutes, then clean with a soft brush before rinsing with lukewarm water and wiping with a chamois or soft cloth.

For stains, apply baking soda diluted in a little water, lemon juice, toothpaste, blanc de Meudon or methylated spirits to a used soft toothbrush. After gently rubbing the jewel, rinse with clean water and wipe dry with a cloth. If stains remain, rub with a cloth moistened with a mixture of vinegar and ammonia.

For black marks, immerse the silver in a mixture of hot water and vinegar for 15 minutes. If silver oxidizes, immerse it for a few minutes in a solution of coarse salt and hot water poured into an aluminum-lined bowl, then dry with a soft cloth.
