THE DESIGNER
Born in Kabylia and arriving in France at the age of seven, Nadia Azoug grew up in Paris’s 20th arrondissement. A sociology student and keen observer of the world and its subtleties, she developed a keen eye for her surroundings and for people. After an experience in recruitment confirmed her entrepreneurial spirit, she opened her bar in the 11th arrondissement. It was there, behind the counter, that a jeweler passed on his passion to her. Their daily conversations over the counter gave rise to an obvious idea: to create jewelry differently. In 2010, she founded Monsieur Paris, a house in her own image: exacting, authentic and understated.
The name Monsieur Paris was chosen as a knowing nod, a statement of intent. Jewelry conceived by a woman and crafted by women: her ambition was to offer pieces designed and made entirely in Paris, in her workshop. Her guiding principle: to favor rarity over abundance, time over haste, and artisanal techniques over industrial production. From the outset, Monsieur Paris set up on rue Charlot, in the heart of the Haut Marais, with the workbench at the heart of the store.
Eight years later, the house flourished further with the opening of a showroom workshop just a few steps from its store. Fifteen years of experience, attentive listening and exacting standards have forged a precise craftsmanship, a distinctive identity and a strong sense of independence.
Unique jewelry crafted in Paris
Each Monsieur Paris creation is born from a union of ancestral techniques and jewelry innovation. At the workbench, our female jewelers meticulously apply their expert skills: sawing, soldering, filing, hammering, setting, and polishing. Our artisans—gilders, casters, and engravers—keep an authentic and exacting craftsmanship alive, forged over more than fifteen years of passion and high standards.
